God, Shadow is a machine. The amount of material he pumps out is ridiculous. One minute he's dropping limited edition mixes then next he's gathering school house funk. The crazier thing is almost everything he puts out is high quality. "Funky Skunk" was only available through DJ Shadow's official website, which means unless one checks that on the regular this could have gone completely unnoticed on the initial release. It was also boxed in a limited edition set, so the high price tag could definately scare one off as well. "Funky Skunk" has been officially re-released by Shadow himself and what a good thing it is! A tough funk set with one of the kings of modern street art doing the packaging, (Shephard Fairey of Obey), is pretty hard to pass down.
