Description
Raekwon (of The Wu-Tang Clan) - Interview Part 3 (of 3) (Columbia, MD - 7/12/2009) ... #UGHHxclusive

"Only Built 4 Cuban Linx means. . . a chain of command that never could be broken. . .loyalty, love and trust and honor. . .when you put that chain together thats that link. Thats something that nobody can ever pop. Mentally or physically. . .we just wanted to let everybody know, thats how we coming. You cant break this link right here." - Raekwon

The 3rd and final segment of the previously unreleased 2009 interview with Raekwon conducted at Rock The Bells in Maryland, two months before he dropped "Only Built 4 Cuban Linx... Pt. II". Rae was also promoting the "Marvel vs. Capcom 2" soundtrack which hes featured on and which dropped in conjunction with "Marvel vs. Capcom 2: New Age of Heroes" release for Playstation & Xbox. 1 year following this interview, Rae would go on to team up with Marvel Comics yet again for the "Wu-Massacre" album with Method Man & Ghostface Killah.

A theme Raekwon kept returning to both on-stage and in the interview is our responsibility to the children. Interspersed throughout the promo for the then upcoming "OB4CL II" album, we get glimpses of Raes mature outlook on life through choice statements such as "No matter how much I talk about cocaine rap. . .I do have a heart for other shit thats gonna lead kids to gettin away from all that bullshit."
